1. About this service
EASY Feedback is a voluntary, peer-to-peer feedback and recognition tool for NHS colleagues. It is intended to support professional development and to recognise good work. It is not part of, and does not replace, any formal NHS appraisal, revalidation, HR, complaints, incident-reporting or clinical-governance process.
2. Eligibility
You may only register and use EASY Feedback if you are a member of NHS staff with a valid @nhs.net email address. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that takes place under it.
3. Acceptable use
Feedback and recognition must be honest, fair, constructive and professional. You must not submit content that is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening, dishonest, or that identifies patients or breaches confidentiality. Do not use the service to bully, intimidate or settle personal disputes.
4. Anonymity and moderation
Feedback and stars are anonymous to the recipient by default. However, content that is flagged for review can be seen by an administrator, including the identity of the person who submitted it. Administrators may remove content and may warn, temporarily suspend or permanently remove the account of anyone who misuses the service.
5. Your responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By submitting content you confirm that it is your own honest opinion and that it does not break these terms or any law, NHS policy or professional standard that applies to you.
6. No liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of EASY Feedback accepts no responsibility or liability for the content submitted by users, for any misuse of the service, or for any loss, damage, distress or consequence arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or anything posted on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Data and privacy
We store the limited profile information you provide (such as your name, NHS email, hospital and department) and the feedback, stars and other activity associated with your account, in order to run the service. Feedback you receive is kept private to you. Do not include patient-identifiable information anywhere in the service.
8. Changes and availability
We may update these terms or change, suspend or withdraw the service at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for or use EASY Feedback.
